Off-roaders have conventionally been thought of as vehicles that you take where your regular family commuter won’t go. However, the definition of rough terrain vehicle has changed drastically over the past few decades and with adventure tourism being no longer relegated to traversing through unkempt country roads, the modern off-roader needs to be a master of all terrains indeed. The D-90 4X4 Off-road Vehicle by designer Esli Jacob Rodriguez Vela is one such concept that is ideal for the adventure junkie of the future.

The vehicle goes from regular off-roader to submarine in a matter of minutes and comes with a handy chassis that is capable of delivering optimum performance on land as well as underwater. The D-90 4X4 Off-road Vehicle is powered by four turbines located inside the four wheels. The four wheel drive enables the vehicle to tread through all kinds of terrain conditions both underwater as well as on land.
The vehicle is designed with unique glow in the dark design elements that are located around the exterior of the vehicle and illuminate the vehicle’s surroundings without taxing the batteries for power since they retain and emit light stored while the vehicle is exposed to natural light. While converting from off-roader to submarine, all axes start rotating outwards to begin the conversion. The same process is reversed to enable the vehicle to go from submarine to off-roader.
