Cltr+Alt your home lighting via Plaques Keyboard fixturesPosted by Asmita Prasad on Apr 23, 2012 in Design Buzz, Graphic Design blog | Comments Off
A lighting fixture control for the computer junkie, the Plaques Keyboard by PLH Italia is a playful new take on the regular design. The design uses elements from the traditional keyboard interface that is recognized internationally and allows users of all ages to interact with the lighting control system without wondering which button does what. The Keyboard can be fashioned from sheet aluminum with numerical control machines machining the elements with laser etched letters and logos on the black anodized surface.
The sandblasted aluminum surface comes with symbols from computer keyboards that enable users to use the controls more intuitively. From simple operation modes such as setting up lighting schemes to saving them and even control various elements, the Keyboard can be custom-fitted to any type of plaque and almost all kinds of home lighting control systems.
The interface is easy to use and can be understood by anyone who has experience in using computers which makes it ideal for people who want their home lighting control system to be accessible to anyone. The Keyboard is also designed to be suited to almost all kinds of décor styles and its pleasant and uncluttered facia allows it to blend into both modern as well as traditional decors without standing out like a sore thumb.
